Amy Tuttle, RD. LCSW
Amy Tuttle, RD, LCSW is a My Self Design provider with offices in Center
City Philadelphia, Chestnut Hill, and Devon, Pennsylvania. As a registered dietitian and licensed
clinical social worker with advanced training in mindfulness meditation
practices, she has been committed to preventing and resolving eating and weight
issues for over 20 years.
Amy provides individual
nutrition and psychotherapy, as well as mindfulness-based self-care groups for
clients before and after their weight loss surgery.
A long-time advocate for the
Health at Every Size movement, Amy
has conducted no-diet weight management programs for varied groups, including
women at mid-life, children and their parents at the YMCA, and the men and women
officers of the Philadelphia Police Department. She regularly presents at support groups and professional
conferences and has written articles and been interviewed in various magazine
and on television about eating and weight issues. At the popular web site, Nourishing
Connections, she and her web partner, Dr. Karin Kratina, offer “Peace with
Food” teleclasses and webinars, as well as articles, tools, and resources such
as Stay Attuned: The E-zine for Nourishing Connections.
Amy is on the board of the
American Anorexia/Bulimia Association of Philadelphia and is a member of the
Weight Management, Sports & Cardiovascular Nutritionists, and Dietitians in
Integrative & Functional Medicine practice groups of the American Dietetic
Association.
